Even amidst these hardships, looking at the international landscape reveals terrifying lessons for dictators. Specifically, the recent "Operation Absolute Resolve" in Venezuela.

The Downfall of Chinese and Russian Technology

While people are focused on Maduro's arrest in the US "Operation Absolute Resolve," from a military perspective, it is astonishing that the Venezuelan Air Force—which claimed to have the strongest air defense in South America—collapsed within hours.

The story begins with the Chinese-made JY-27A Radar, installed with high reliance and capable of a 500km range. Despite boasting that it could detect stealth aircraft like the F-22, in reality, it could not compete with American technology.

When the Chinese radar went "blind," the connected Russian-made S-300VM long-range air defense systems, as well as Buk and Pechora systems, were rendered useless and turned into mere scrap metal.

The Power of US Electronic Warfare

This was the work of EA-18G Growler aircraft launching from the USS Gerald R. Ford. These aircraft are designed not for bombing, but specifically for destroying enemy radars.

Their AN/ALQ-218 Pod detects the enemy radar location, and the AN/ALQ-99 Jamming Pod emits high-intensity waves to jam them. The Chinese radar couldn't withstand this and shut down. Not only were they blinded, but they were further destroyed by AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles, dismantling the entire air defense network.
