သက်သေခံပစ္စည်းများ ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိ ယနေ့ (ဇန်နဝါရီ ၂၁) နံနက်ပိုင်း သတင်းများအရ ပစ်ခတ်မှုကျူးလွန်ပြီး ထွက်ပြေးနေသူ ဝတ်ဆင်ထားသည့် အဝတ်အစားများနှင့် အခင်းဖြစ်ပွားချိန်တွင် အသုံးပြုခဲ့သည့် သေနတ်ကို အာဏာပိုင်များက ပြန်လည်တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပြီဖြစ်သည်။ အဆိုပါ ပစ္စည်းများကို မဲဆောက်မြို့၊ မယ်ကုရပ်ကွက်ရှိ တော့ဖောင်း (Top Form) အထည်ချုပ်စက်ရုံ အနောက်ဘက် ကြံခင်းတစ်ခုအတွင်းမှ ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

ဖြစ်စဉ်အကျဉ်း ဇန်နဝါရီလ ၂၀ ရက်နေ့ ညနေပိုင်းက တော့ဖောင်းစက်ရုံဘေးရှိ 7-Eleven စတိုးဆိုင်အနီးတွင် လုံခြုံရေးတာဝန်ရှိသူများက စစ်ဆေးမှုများ ပြုလုပ်နေစဉ် သေနတ်သမားက စတင်ပစ်ခတ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ပစ်ခတ်မှုကြောင့် ထိုင်းရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်တစ်ဦး ကျောကုန်းတွင် ကျည်ထိမှန်ဒဏ်ရာ ရရှိခဲ့ပြီး လက်ရှိတွင် မဲဆောက်ဆေးရုံကြီး အထူးကြပ်မတ်ကုသဆောင် (ICU) ၌ ဆေးဝါးကုသမှု ခံယူနေရသည်။

Authorities have intensified their search for the fugitive suspect involved in the shooting of a Thai police officer that occurred yesterday evening (January 20) in Mae Sot, Thailand.

Discovery of Evidence According to reports from this morning (January 21), authorities have recovered the clothes worn by the fleeing suspect and the firearm used during the incident. These items were discovered in a sugarcane field behind the Top Form garment factory in Mae Ku Ward, Mae Sot.

Incident Summary The shooting began on the evening of January 20 near the 7-Eleven store beside the Top Form factory when the gunman opened fire while security personnel were conducting inspections. As a result of the shooting, a Thai police officer sustained a gunshot wound to the back and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Mae Sot General Hospital.

Current Security Situation Since the suspect may still be armed, Thai security forces are conducting the search with maximum caution.

• Police, military, and border guard forces are collaborating to set up roadblocks and conduct inspections.
